For DC Live Productions, that spark began more than 35 years ago in Seattle, Washington, when founder Jerry Dahlberg took his first step into the world of live event video production with nothing more than a single video camera and a single video projector and some rented gear.
With a passion for delivering great experiences, Jerry began supporting local events and community gatherings across Seattle. He quickly built a reputation for his attention to detail, work ethic, and hands-on care for every client.
From Local Roots to Major Stages
Over the years, DC Productions has become a trusted partner for event organizers across the Puget Sound region. From large-scale productions to intimate community gatherings, DC Productions has built a reputation for reliability, creativity, and precision.
Their work has spanned an incredible range of events: from 20,000+-person arena shows at Climate Pledge Arena and the Tacoma Dome to energizing Galas in venues like the Seattle Sheraton and Westin and Hyatt Regency as well as corporate events in the Seattle Convention Center Summit and Arch, and Bellevue's Meydenbauer Center as well as concerts, company meetings and art performances in WAMU Theater, McCaw Hall, the Paramount Theatre and so many other venues across Puget Sound that bring people together for a cause or for enjoyment.
At the same time, DC Live has provided video production services to companies like Microsoft, Boeing, Starbucks, Kemper Development, Virginia Mason, University of Washington, Live Nation, Blue Origin, Crane Aerospace, Sounders FC, and other major organizations.

In 2025, the company entered an exciting new chapter. To better reflect its focus on live experiences and to differentiate itself from other companies with similar names, DC Productions officially rebranded to DC Live Productions.
The new name represents more than just a fresh look. It captures what has always been at the heart of the company: delivering when it needs to be live and when it matters most. Alongside the rebrand, DC Live launched its first-ever website and made new investments to serve clients bigger and better than ever before.
